Inflammation is the gateway to disease
Wouldn't it be eye opening if you could see what is going on inside your body? See where your pain is coming from? Recognize sinus headache patterns, guts issues, breast and chest examines that do no harm. I'll take that! Then, you would be able to make changes in your lifestyle and diet before the inflammation turns into disease. To be able to have that kind of control over your health and see the effort that your making is real, could be life changing to say the least.

What is Thermography
Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) or Medical Thermography: Is a safe radiation-free, non-invasive medical imaging technology that captures heat and inflammation patterns of the body through a infrared sensor camera. Thermography give us an inside look on all the systems and processes of the body and to monitor changes for early stages of disease and any abnormal physiological changes or asymmetrical pattern changes. Its a visual insight into what happening within you in real time and it is also creating a foundation to monitor for future changes. There are two paths to investigate, one is a preventative tool or a baseline and another is early detection tool on areas of interest.
Preventative screening: help establish a baseline on where your health is now. Inflammation and pain create a pattern or a roadmap that we can light up through thermography. In most cases, disease silently develops for years before its damaging effects can be detected or felt in daily life. Thermography gives us a head start on any philological changes happening in real time throughout the whole body.
Early Detection: is key in any dis-ease or dis-function of the body. Many people today are complaining of mystery illnesses or pain with no reasoning and no answers from their doctors. Internal inflammation is silent and invisible to the eye and to most medical equipment. Infrared sensors will light up those silent patterns of pain or illness, giving doctors another tool that is visual to help in their recovery to wellness.
Interpretations of your Report: understanding how the images and data relate to the function of the human body provides the ultimate value of thermography. Physicians insight is an organization of board-certified practicing medical doctors who represent a variety of specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Functional Medicine, OB/GYN, General Practice, Radiology, Acupuncture trained to interpret thermal images through data analysis and medical experience.
Below you will find Thermography Packages, choose which one fits your needs, then follow the steps to prepare for your imaging and then DISCOVER YOU!
Getting Started
Choose which Imaging you would like .
-
Breast & Back Imaging
Mammograms remain the medical standard. But radiation-free thermography is a first line of imaging for many women. Breast & back imaging covers more area and could illuminate inflammation spots before any disease can be detected. We also image the back and lungs to give a more complete body view of physiological change not usually looked at. Thermography is a proactive tool for breast health, enabling early detection of abnormalities to support well-being.

Health Study
A Health Study Imaging combines all of the upper body down to the pelvic bone. The breast & back are part of this imaging package. It is a more complete imaging of all the organs and system processes within the core of the body. Giving a more complete body view of physiological change working together. This process seems to be overlooked in ones health review. Thermography is a proactive tool for getting a head start on what might be coming down the road. enabling early detection of abnormalities to support well-being.

This is the most popular choice.

Full Body
The full body imaging is a continuation from the health study by adding the limbs. The arms, hands, legs, inner/outer thighs, feet and ankles. All images for vascular and circulation issues. The whole body from head to toe is imaged. This is an important imaging sequence for those who are dealing with vascular and circulation issue.

After Booking Your Appointment.
An email will be sent with the pre-imaging protocol and imaging study intake your looking to take.

The Screening process
Step 4
Once in the office, you will meet with our Medical Thermographer to review the imaging procedure. The imaging will take place in a private, temperature-controlled room with a curtain between you and the thermographer for additional privacy. You will disrobe according to the screening type and will acclimate to room temperature for 15 minutes for the body to adjust and acclimate. Following the acclamation period, you will be positioned in front of the imaging system so that the relevant surfaces of the body are imaged accordingly. The imaging series takes between 15-45 minutes depending on the screening type.
Step 5
Following the screening appointment, the images are forwarded to our board-certified doctors. A detailed report, including thermographic images will be emailed and sent to you within 5-7 business days following the interpterion process.
Step 6
Once you have received the thermogram report, an online consultation can be scheduled with the Medical Thermographer for a review of understanding of the findings and recommendation if any. Following the consultation if needed, you will schedule a comparison screening either at 3, 6 or 12 months per the recommendation of the Thermologist and based on your thermographic findings.
Through regular lymphatic care, and simple lifestyle changes, everyone can improve his/her health and reduce the risk of disease.
Methods of Early Breast Cancer Detection
The following outlines the differences between mammography, ultrasound. and medical infrared imaging (thermography).
Mammography- (20% of cancers not detected), in women over age 50. Sensitivity decreases in women under age 50. Uses X-rays to produce an image that is a shadow of dense structures. This uses radiation that my cause cancer.
Ultrasound– (17% of cancers not detected), in all age groups. High frequency sound waves are bounced off the breast tissue and collected as an echo to produce an image.
Medical Infrared Imaging (Thermography)- (10% of cancers not detected), in all age groups. This is the best of the 3 methods because it is the most accurate and no use of radiation. Medical infrared imaging detects surface heat as a byproduct of biochemical reactions. As such, the test adds valuable physiologic information that cannot be obtained from any other imaging procedure. Thermography is designed to be used as an adjunct (an additional test) to a woman’s regular breast health care.
Note: A biopsy is the only test that can determine if a suspected tissue area is cancerous.
